PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Product: Two-component water-based polyurethane sealer.
Package sizes: 4.95 litres (4.5+0.45) in glosslevel ultra matt.
Appearance: Creamy/milky in the container. Colourless film when dry.
Resistance properties:
Hair dyes, hair perm lotion, iodine and plasticizers migration from the substrate can cause discoloration of the surface. If there is a requirement for resistance to disinfectants, it is recommended to test the agents on site.
Protection against slips and trips:
PUR Floor Sealer applied according to the instructions for use generally provides good slip resistance to the floor, but if liquid is spilled and left on the surface, it will make the floor slippery and increase the risk of slips and trips. It is therefore important to clean up any unintended spillages immediately. For the same reason, the product is not suitable for areas with long-term exposure to water, e.g. shower cabins.
Please note that if you apply the PUR coating to safety flooring that contains aggregates you may affect the slip resistant characteristics of the floor.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Floors not previously sealed:
Before starting work, the surface must be dry and thoroughly cleaned with Junckers PUR Intensive Cleaner. It is important that the surface is completely free of wax, grease, polish, soap residue, etc.
- Lightly sand the surface with grit 150-180 sandpaper. This ensures good adhesion to the cleaned surface and removes any small scratches.
- Vacuum sanding dust and wipe off with a cloth well wrung in clean water.
- Apply the first coat of PUR Floor Sealer and allow to dry for a minimum of 3 hours before applying the second coat.
- If the second coat of sealer is applied after drying for more than 4 hours, a light intermediate sanding with 150-180 grit sandpaper is recommended to ensure optimal adhesion. Remember to remove sanding dust.
- If sealing is done in combination with Junckers PUR Floor Colour, colouring must be done before the final coat of sealer.
- Let the surface dry completely before use.
- Before sealing the full area, it is recommended to conduct a trial application on a smaller area.
Previously sealed floors:
- To dissolve old soap residues, first wash the floor with Junckers Neutralizer.
- When the floor is dry, sand lightly using grit 150-180 sandpaper.
- Vacuum sanding dust and wipe off with a cloth well wrung in clean water.
- Apply one coat of PUR Floor Sealer and leave to dry.
- Before sealing the full area, it is recommended to conduct a trial application on a smaller area.
How to conduct a trial application:
Apply sealer to a couple of spots, 2 coats at 4 hours interval. Let dry for 24 hours and then check the spots for adhesion by scraping with the edge of a coin. If the adhesion is good and the appearance of the surface is acceptable, the floor can be sealed. If the result is not satisfactory, remove the existing surface treatment to a clean, firm and sustainable base.
