In November 2024, the collaboration between the Danish Basketball Association (DBBF) and Junckers A/S reached an exciting milestone. Farum Arena, the official homecourt for Denmarks basketball team, equipped with Junckers’ Arena Master sports floor, was showcased in the match against Serbia on November 21.
For Junckers, it is important to support the Danish basketball players and contribute to the further development of Basketball in Denmark – and of course, the collaboration means something very special to Junckers as basketball is exclusively played on solid wooden floors.
DBBF CEO Jesper W. Sørensen says "We are very happy with our agreement with Junckers, ensuring a basketball floor of the highest quality. It is another step in the right direction to give our players the best conditions so they hopefully will create historic achievements in the future."
Back in 2021, Junckers established a partnership with FIBA that included EuroBasket ’22, World Cup ’23 and Olympics ’24. With experience since 1930 and an impressive catalogue of top international tournaments, Junckers has specialized in what is expected of a high-level basketball court and is proud to be able to offer the Danish basketball stars the same stage to shine on.
